NeoFinder (formerly CDFinder) rapidly organizes your data, either on external or internal disks, or any other volumes. It catalogs all your data, so you stay in control of your data archive or disk library. With extensive metadata support, you can find your files quickly.

Geotagging GPS support: NeoFinder catalogs and displays GPS EXIF tags of photos, and has direct links to Google Earth, Flickr, Panoramio, Google Maps and MapQuest. NeoFinder can even search for photos that were taken near any location (GeoFinder), and export GPS data to KMZ files
Networkable: Share your NeoFinder database in your entire workgroup (requires a Business License)

Find Similar Photos based on the motif, with absolutely amazing results!
Ingest entire media folders: Copies all files to clearly defined folder structures, renames them, adds metadata, and catalogs them.
Multi-line Annotations for Icon View and Photo Contact Sheets: Up to five lines for each Annotation.
Bookmarks for files can be exported, and shared with other Macs running NeoFinder.
Catalog and edit three additional XMP fields: Copyright URL, Digital Source, and Data Mining. Also available with AppleScript and exporting.
XMP Presets support these three XMP fields, too.
Date values show the weekday in the Inspector and elsewhere.
Find weekdays in the Find Editor.
Generate a Photo Contact Sheet from just the currently selected photos.

Fixes
The “gear” button for the commands in the Labels Preferences window is always visible in macOS “dark mode”.
Improves behavior of the Update Settings window on 13″ Macs with a small screen. All buttons are now reachable there, too.
The global menu bar find feature works if the search text contains “&”.
Fixes a problem when renaming imported files in Image Capture with certain parameter combinations.
Fixes a problem where new keywords added with QuickTags were not always added to the Recent Items list.
Fixes a problem in certain macOS 12, macOS 13, macOS 26, and macOS 27 versions, where cataloging of ExFAT volumes could silently fail due to invalid volume creation date values returned by the faulty Apples ExFAT driver.
Fixes a problem using the “!!” parameter in the Find Editor in certain situations.
Fixes a problem cataloging certain malformed .mkv files using ffmpeg.
Fixes a problem when moving files in Catalogs didn’t move the XMP sidecar files if these were not yet contained in the Catalog.
Fixes a problem when showing the contents of a Smart Folder contained items of a Catalog that was being Updated. If that happens, the list of Found Items will now be cleared to prevent “ghost” items.
Fixes a problem with AppleScript when the contents of an updated Catalog could still show some old items.
Works around a serious bug in macOS 26 and macOS 27, where the beautiful application icon of NeoFinder was incorrectly displayed in an ugly squircle jail by Apple.
Addresses numerous minor issues.
NeoFinder 9.3 requires Mac OS X 10.15 “Catalina” or newer, including macOS 26 “Tahoe”, Intel or Apple ARM M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, or M6
NeoFinder 9.3 is the last version to support macOS 10.15 “Catalina”.
